One Million Tulips at Parco Giardino Sigurta, Italy

Parco Giardino Sigurta l ©ornaoreilly.com On Saturday last, one-million tulips were standing to attention on the grounds of this 60 hectare floral paradise located in Valeggio sul Mincio near Lake Garda in the province of Verona. I had been invited there with Tom Weber, The Palladian Traveler, and several other journalists and bloggers to experience this incredibly colourful sight. Here are some photos of the fantastic display.

Voted “Italy’s Most Beautiful Park” Sigurtà Garden Park, whose gates are open from early March to early November, is a stunning feast for the eyes and the perfect venue for a family outing.
